So many of you out there will have ISAs, Pensions, Endowments, Savings Plans etc. that you started a long time ago but have never really assessed since.
The investment world is a fast paced environment and things change. None more so than the types of investments and products available. More modern alternatives to the investments you no doubt hold are available now and can offer better features, pricing and growth prospects too.
So often I see investors with a very normal mix of old investments that can easily and quickly be turned into a more modern portfolio. By modern I mean lower cost and more suited to the personal needs of the investor. The wealth management advice offered in this sort of situation is far more valuable than the alternative which is often to do nothing.
You should not have to accept high charges, lack of fund choice and poor administration and client service. There are too many alternatives. If you feel like you have some emotional or sentimental association with the company your investments are with, just think for a moment how emotional and sentimental they might be towards you in virtually any given situation?
My top tip would be to pull out your paperwork, look at what you have and consider whether you should modernise it. If you are not sure how or where to start then do feel free to call us.
