Financial Surgeries 1

Helping your employees with their financial wellness …

A key philosophy of Investor Profile and one of the reasons why we do what we do is to be able to offer really good financial advice to people in ways that make it easy and affordable for them.

A rather unique way of doing that is via our Corporate Financial Surgery sessions. These offer people the chance to book time with a financial adviser in half hour slots, and talk about anything they need to. I have always thought that people would be so much better off financially if they could make really good financial decisions each and every time they have to make a major, or minor one. The problem is that most people will consult either their family or friends for financial advice, neither of whom are likely to possess the experience of talking to hundreds or even thousands of people about their money.

So if a well-qualified and experienced financial adviser can be available in manageable chunks of time to answer questions that could make a big difference to your finances, then that’s got to be a good thing, right?

However, in the past it has been hard to find someone that sells advice. It’s easy to find people that sell product, but to actually go and buy advice is harder than you might think. So that’s what we do, we sell advice.

Investor Profile’s company philosophy is that everyone should have access to and be able to benefit from really good, personalised advice and this is the reason we’ve started to branch out from just offering the surgery via our website, where people can book a session online, to taking it ‘on the road’.

We now offer Financial Surgery days at employer offices where employees can book a time slot and speak to an adviser about their finances. It’s so easy and of obvious benefit to employees that it makes for a great employee benefit. In fact it’s one of the more unusual employee benefits even though it’s a pretty basic need of most people, i.e. to know what to do with their salary and accumulated ‘stuff’ (old pensions and investments).

Investor Profile has been running the Financial Surgery at forward thinking company PKF Cooper Parry and we’re pleased to say it’s working well.  Read the following testimonial from Stephen Jones, Chief Executive, PKF Cooper Parry Wealth.     http://www.pkfcooperparry.com/stephen-jones

“Jaskarn visits our office every quarter to meet our team members on an individual basis.  During each session he spends time discussing their financial situation and advises accordingly on how to plan their finances.

We’re extremely pleased with the advisory service that Investor Profile offers our team and feel that the high standard of advice given by Jaskarn, meets with our business objectives and benefits the wellbeing of our team.

Feedback from our team supports our decision to use an external financial planner, as team members feel more relaxed about discussing their personal finances with Investor Profile as Jaskarn does not work for PKF Cooper Parry.

We would highly recommend the Investor Profile Corporate Financial Surgery Days to other companies, who may be thinking about taking up this service in the near future.”
